What better way to compliment your walking holiday than to swap your hiking books for a bike and see the Victorian Alps from a different perspective. This bike tour connects Mt Hotham with Falls Creek, two iconic walking/biking destinations. You have the option to combine a walking tour with a four day cycle tour, or if you prefer you can do the bike tour only. Mix that in with speactacular alpine views, cosy accommodation and charming high-country dining and you have a wonderful escape from the workaday world. We provide you with a mountain bike and helmet. You’ll be accompanied by Paul, our cycle guide, and a Park Trek guide who helps with support logistics.

When you book a walking tour combined with the four day Great Alpine Ride Tour you get a Bike ‘n’ Hike! It combines to make a superb 7 or 8 day experience complete with excellent guiding, equipment and a host of fabulous cycle trails. The total outlay for combining both trips is $(TBC). DAY 1

Depending on what trip combination you have choosen your day starts either at Dinner Plain or in Melbourne. If you chose the walk + bike option you start this morning in Dinnerplain where we head off for a terrific short walk after breakfast . Then it's on to Bright  where you have will have lunch and meet up with Paul, your bike guide.

If you start from melbourne we depart at 8.15am and head immediately for a morning tea stop two hours away in Euroa.  Then it’s time to make tracks again for lunch in the charming town of Bright where we also meet up with the other participants.
